I sold my 2004 GT and now have an 06, the tuners aren't compatible so I need to sell this one or trade for one that is. It is an SCT x3 with the tunes from american muscle. Have the original package and cord etc. $325 or bo or trade for 06 tuner

Price on the cold air intake and where abouts are you located? Any pics of it? It will fit my 06 gt with no problem right?

Hey there fellas, a few questions about the S197 stangs. I just sold my 04 GT and bought a 06 GT. Where are the real bot on power picker uppers and what exhaust are people running. I don't mind if it's "too loud".

I've done this way too many times. You should spray it with PB Blaster, let it sit for an hour and then use a swivel head socket. It usually takes two of us to do it. One to hold the socket and swivel firm and the other to spin the ratchet, a PITA but def worth it.

You can bore it if you want. Boring the cylinder walls has nothing to do with the heads. The only semi relation is that the new pistons and heads will determine your compression ratio. Also be sure to check for valve clearance before starting the motor because not having the proper clearance can...

Obviously running the 91 out is the best idea, but it won't make a huge difference unless your new tune is bumping the timing advance up

A lot of it depends on what bolt ons and how aggressive the tune but I don't see why you cant be upwards of 350 or so

I have to agree with previous comments that if you are going through all this work your almost better just swapping the motor to a 99 and up that has a beefy internal set up. That's what I would do for a few reasons. I don't know how many miles are on your motor now, but you'd be starting fresh...

I have the chrome 04 anny rims on my GT. They are in pretty nice shape, no curb rash just brake dust buildup on the back. I figured I'd put it out there if anyone was intrested in trading rims. No bullits please.
