Help with mid pipe!!!

ok so. i ordered a summit o/r h a lil while ago. me and my friend matt tried to install it today. couldnt get the dam stock h off. we got the bolts off that were holdin it onto the catback, but the bolts that were on the stock manifolds were a bitch. we got 3 off, but there was this one bolt on the passanger side we just couldnt get to. stood there forever trying to figure it out, said fuck it, then when we put on the bolts one bolt decided not to go back on...WTF!!!!!!!!! how do we get that one bolt off? anyone else have this issue?

Spray the bolt down with WD40 or some lubricant really good, let it sit for an hour, then try it again. If that doesnt work, take it to a muffler shop, they will heat the bolt up and try again. If that doesn work, just hack it off and make the new mid pipe work with some massaging.

well we couldnt like get to it, the angle of it was just ridiculous, plus the starter was in the way, it was just hell.. lol

yeah, if its bieng a royal PITA then just take it to a muffler shop and they will bust ther knuckles for a few bux.

I've done this way too many times. You should spray it with PB Blaster, let it sit for an hour and then use a swivel head socket. It usually takes two of us to do it. One to hold the socket and swivel firm and the other to spin the ratchet, a PITA but def worth it.

Yea, how about soak it with PB Blaster once an hour for 4 hours and let it sit overnight. Then hit it again. Then try it with the 2 people as suggested. I haven't tried this yet but I feel I could after so many posts about it.

we used the PB blaster, and all that stuff, its jsut that the angle of it made it literally impossible to get to, we used the swivel and all

I just did mine last night. I hit it with the pb blaster. Got a long extension with a universal on the end. Hit it with the air ratchet, first loose, then tight, repeat!!! Took a long time but the bitch came out.

Can you fit a map torch enough to heat it up? If worse comes to worse just hack it off piece by piece. If you have the cash and don't want to hack it up then bring it to a muffler shop like stated above.
