Whipple has a new 4.0L supercharger with the Crusher inlet now available. Hermann of HBH already has one, I think his is the 1st. More info on his build is here:

The only real way to stop it is never to drive it in the salt, because it gets anywhere and everywhere and will rust where you cannot get it coated. A friend of mine did that oil crap mix on his and try working on it after!! NOT fun!!

With a SC or Turbo you can have a very fast but streetable car.....
They will work, my friend's old 93 GT I installed a KB on later got TFS heads by the new owner. No issues I know of. BUT, you have to run STOCK valve covers. Thats the clearance issue. If you run taller ones you need a 3/8 spacer.
