This ran a 9.6x@144 today, not bad for a stock motor and stock 6spd! 4.0L Whipple powered.... Far from gutted interior....seats 2 still!

He doesn't want another motor, I already said I'd sell my complete 90 HO motor. I just don't see the sense in taking pistons out of another motor. Either get a different motor or rebuild this one. Seeing as $$ is an issue. What do you have to spend? And what are you wanting to run for times?

9 second Lightning, ran a high 9 at 140mph.... Audi R8 got beat my a GT500... 9 second Charger (this used to be a 440 4 spd car I rode in it YEARS ago) Impala..was a 409 4spd car originally..my father is friends with him..ran 10.0x today Cobra Jet clone.....!!! NASTY car!
