A few books that I think are must haves for a foxbody owner

No it mostly just explains how the EEC-Iv works, how to test the sensors, just a lot of great info for trouble shooting the EFI. I think you can view some of the pages on Amazon. As far as tuning, I have quite a few on that subject but there is probably more info on the eectuning.org forums...

I have just heard a lot of people having issues with them, google MSD distributor 5.0 Mustang or something similar you will see. So it turns over but doesn't fire? Is the coil working?

    89 LX distributor gear issue

I'd ditch the MSD idea, nobody I know has good luck with those distributors. But if you do get one you need a billet steel gear for it. MSD Ignition 85834 - MSD Steel Distributor Gears - Application - SummitRacing.com I know many guys run the '85 HO Mustang distributor that are running carbed...

    for every mod???

I'm willing to bet it could run better though, even if you could verify the A/F. Usually with a foxbody you can get good performance without a tune but it all depends on the combo. I tuned a 90 GT with a 311 h/c/i and it was off enough it picked up quite a bit of power and drives much better.

    for every mod???

Well the stock PCM when in closed loop can correct up to a max of 25%, either adding fuel or pulling it. So minor changes are not a huge deal. The thing is when you make changes like adding more fuel via a fuel pressure regulator the EEC-IV pcm will eventually negate the changes made due to the...

"Cats out of the Bag" for Orange Rob....

No kidding, didn't know that was your old car. I know a lot of the guys ended up swapping on a 99/01 intake and going air to air due to the severe loss of lowend with the sheet metal upper but I don't remember the specifics.

"Cats out of the Bag" for Orange Rob....

Yea, get those nice parts on there I tossed in the trunk of the car as some good starter mods lol. PI swap is over-rated. Get some MHS cams with a PI intake. Already did all the research on it and talked to Nick at MHS. Total difference for going thru the BS of swapping heads, 10-12hp and a...

1991 GT Conv ALL STOCK what should upgrade?

The stock airbox is the best cold air, take the silencer out and toss a K&N panel filter in. I tested stock airbox, BBK intake, C&L inlet and was fastest time and MPH with stock airbox. Only thing I don't like about the adapter kits for the CD players is you have to drill 4 holes in the...
