    got one!

Hey, just to keep your mind at ease do you have the EXACT mileage? If not they might be out joy riding in your car now that it is sold. I have seen mechanics and sales people do that before. Hell when I bought mine the guy told me yeah it holds corners well, I had it out last week. He...

    suspension

Well it seems that you are unsure so I would recommend subframe connectors, double adjustable upper control arms, tubular lower control arms, and a full coil over suspension. That should get you started and allow you to traverse your car across street, drag and road course duty without...

    300 to the wheels?

There is no set boost limit or rwhp that would blow up your car but the 400 mark is a safe bet that your car is going to last just as long as a stock motor would. When you go higher you do tend to start walking a fine line. Where your exact motors line is would only be seen once it was too...

What do you want your car to be able to do? That will dictate what type of suspension setup you will need.

    Styling Ideas!! White/Tan

If you have not already push the wing back a few inches. It dramatically changes the look of the car. Makes it more streamlined. You could also remove the MUSTANG lettering as everyone in the world already knows what it is. Its like walking around with your name printed on the ass of your...

    300 to the wheels?

A D1 would blow your car up in short order. You should look into Corral.net and see what they have for used kits. A twinscrew or roots blower such as a Kenne Bell, Whipple, Saleen, ect will be more fun on the street as the power comes on very strong down low. These are the types that...

    got one!

Uh....you bought a car that you didn't get to hear run or test drive? I truly hope everything works out for you but that is just a no-no. I hope this isn't a learning experience.

3.73 Gears installed. I have a few questions?

You will see minor gains. It is useful though as the tuners work as OBDII code scanners and dataloggers in addition to the ability to hold 3-4 tunes on them. The 05+ cars really see gains where you and I will not.

    Wider Stock Wheels?

You have a set of 99,01 Cobra wheels. At least they look identical to them.

    300 to the wheels?

At 18 I am sure anything around 300rwhp will be more than you can deal with. Sign up to run at a auto cross event or road course to learn your car while in a controlled environment. If you do get the Trickflow heads you will not have to worry about piston to valve contact as there valve...

    Lets talk mods.....A little Q&A.

Correct. Most tunes bump timing to be a bit more aggressive. That is where Ford had placed a restriction. The addition of a tune even on a stock vehicle can yield positive results. I am right now working out the logistics on making a home built CAI and RAI that everyone here can use on their...

    Lets talk mods.....A little Q&A.

Red: What I don't think you are understanding is that the stock piece on these cars is VERY efficient. If you drop in a K&N filter and remove the rubber snorkel you have in effect done what 200 dollars will do for you too. The 99-04 and 05-09 cars are two completely different vehicles. The...

    Tranny Question!!

You might not get the power at the wheels but with a big stall and the same engine you will be faster. Most built auto cars run quicker times but have lower mphs.

    O/R X or H pipe...

There is no ill effects from running a 3 chamber, 2 chamber or straight thru other than audible changes to the exhaust note.

    O/R X or H pipe...

An x will in the end produce more power. It is just a better design. But since your car doesn't come with much hp to begin with it is really a matter of audible preference as the gains you will see are from removing the cats more than the actual piping change.

    O/R X or H pipe...

Just a general consensus that most people have come to live by when referring to Mustang exhausts. I have heard a few that sound ok when mixed, but for the most part I agreed with the statement and thus my setup(pypes x, SLP lm1) reflects it. The world would not end if you did cross the two...

    Lets talk mods.....A little Q&A.

Woah....just get a swivel for your socket and you don't have to remove the radiator. I will list the parts, the hp gains, seat of the pants feel and difficulty of installtion on a scale of 1-10. Pullies-3-5hp...barely going to feel it. Installation difficulty 3 Throttle...

    O/R X or H pipe...

A general rule of thumb is H with chambers and X with race/resonator mufflers.
