wierd belt squeel on a hard shift...

It's happened on mine since it was new. No worries, just drive it. If it really bothers you, get a Goodyear Gatorback belt or the A Dayco Polycog. That should cure it.

    Coolant issue

A compression check will reveal a blown gasket if it is blown between two cylinders. It won't reveal a blown gasket if its blown into a coolant jacket. Buy the test kit from NAPA.

    Coolant issue

Sounds like a head gasket bud. You might have combustion gasses finding their way into a coolant jacket. Go to NAPA and get yourself a test kit. Follow the instructions and within a few minutes you can easily diag the problem. Before you go that far, feel your upper and lower radiator hoses when...

    mac prochamber fitment on 2004's

You mentioned you have headers on your car? Or are they stock manifolds? I'm guessing you have the stock manifolds. Your best bet is to keep everything loose and get the exhaust positioned as you want and slowly tighten hardware from front to rear. Also be sure to check that the joints are...

2012 GT500 Super Snake @ NY auto show

I'd bet that car does pretty damn well with stock tires. It would be cool to light the tires at about 100mph!

    wtb: alternator

You can save some money and bring your alternator to a rebuilder and have them "turn it up" for you. They could make it put out about 130 A and keep its reliability.

    Strange voltage problem

Your alternator is crapping out. Gauges and other instruments will do funny things with fluctuations with voltage. Take the old one and chuck it. Buy an alternator from a reputable parts store or local electrical product rebuilder. NOT Autobone or the other big bargain shithole!

    RAM vs Centerforce

^^^ Agreed. I still run my factory Mach clutch and I'm pushing 427hp and 480tq at the wheels. No need to over clutch your car. If you go with too strong of a clutch, guaranteed tourque shock will end your tranny's life quickly. Either leave what you have or go ith the King Cobra.

    Finally uploaded some Mod pics.

I didn't want any holes drilled in my instrument panel. Besides, the sterring wheel blocked the view of where I originally wanted it. Also, I like the way it is kinda hidden from everyone elses view, especially when the vent deflector is installed.

    which cam should i get?

They used to be more resonably priced. I put a set of Jr's on a 5.0 I put in a 73 vert. The car runs very nice! Basically took them out of the box, tore them down and cleaned the snot out of them, reassembled and on they went. No porting or otherwise. I guess Aluminum is the way to go to shed...

    over heating issue

A pressure cap applies pressure to the cooling system to raise the boiling point of the antifreeze. Bad cap equals Problems! It's probably one of the most overlooked preventative maintanence items.

I'm actually thinking about going back to my stock ride height. I have a set of motorsport "c" springs I might wanna sell if I go back to stock.

    taurus electric fan

You can try most junkyards for a fan. A fan out of a Lincoln Continental will work even better. I think it's the conti, it's the front drive model that has a killer fan. If money is an issue, you could bolt the old clutch fan back on.
