    As far as the hard start when warm, get yourself an Edelbrock heat spacer to go between the intake and carb. That will solve that problem. I would double check your choke setting as per edelbrocks recommendations. What is your curb idle right now? Did you go through the your idle mix settings...

    c4 transmission

    Is your shift cable adjusted correctly? Start by placing your trans in neutral,(at the trans with the linkage disconnected) then put your shifter in neutral, then see if you can put the linkage onto the trans lever. It should line right up. It sounds like an adjustment problem.

    driveshaft bolts

    It's not common. Take out the bolts,clean them relly well,clean the flange holes and reinstall using BLUE medium strength locktite. Don't use red or you'll curse and swear when you need to take the shaft down at a later date.

    A trans brake is a valve body modification that, upon activating, it engages reverse and low together, holding the car on the starting line. It allows the engine to be loaded so it starts to spool the turbo. It's a drag race thing.

    I'm kicking around the idea of going turbo. It's a lot easier to spool a turbo off of a trans brake than free spooling a manual, and besides, I had rotator cuff surgery and I can't move my shifting arm right now.
