I really love the Remflex gasket, but they would have to be ordered thru the internet. Best exaust gasket I have ever tried, they even make up for small surface imperfections and even some warpage!!

Hey man. First thing is to try to get rid of as much oil and grime as you can. After that you can remove your upper intake prime it and paint it. You can do the same to your alternator and valve covers. As for hoses, properly done AN braided hoses are the way to go, but it can get expensive :D...

you are missing the engine plate. You should put one on as it protects the flywheel/flexplate, starter, etc. Unfortunately to put it on you have to remove the transmission. Anyways here it is from 50resto engine plate - LRS Search
