Yes it is SAFE, but i wanted to keep it there for when it gets cool in the fall i wont have to "tune" it much. The gains from air bleeds and timing were so tiny i didnt feel leaning it out more was worth the gain to damage ratio lol. Cost 155 an hour i got 5 pulls in 2 hours time.

FYI people the explorer motors have a totaly DIFFERENT cam than the mustang. Less lift and duration, the explorer cam is for low end torque to pull shit etc......

this is not very accurate. there was no such common problem and the motor being beat on or not made no difference. your crank breaking the way it did was a 1 in 50,000 chance at best. Harmonics is probably the culprit here. the balancer might of been compromised and finaly took its toll. there...

are you sure on the brand of h-pipe? my headers hav a 3in collector flange style with the 3 bolt hole connector not 2 like the one in the pic....and usualy summits brand h-pipe comes in twpo pieces...
