the guy that built his cold side did a very poor job (welding). His cold side has leaks at pretty much every seam and a big one where the blowoff valve is connected. He is going to take the car back to have the guy fix it or to try and get his money back and re do it ourselves. We will see how...

check your grounds, make sure the battery terminal connections are clean and tight, like bearded stang said test the alternator and Optima batteries quality control has gone down a lot so have the battery itself tested (they do this for free at Autozone)

In my opinion, no 18" drag radial tire is going to hook and handle with the amount of power/gearing that you are running. You have to compromise somewhere either forget about corner carving handling and go with a soft wall tire (mickey, hoosier) or reduce your gearing to 3.27-3.55. Nitto 555r...
