Lol mine was a bomb. I loved the 86 with the flush headlights, but I bought a 84 with the recessed headlights. Once I got the car home I was like wow this is going to be a money pit, not to mention I'll never be able to accomplish this project. After like a month of me messing with it, i had it up in the air in the garage and was just checking everything over.. I saw some rust on the driver's side apron/frame rail, so i poked on it with the screw driver to make sure it was okay, and the screw driver went right through the frame rail. The battery tray was right above it, so the battery must have tipped over and the acid just ruined the frame rail of the car. It sat in my driveway for about 6 months, I had it on Ebay thousands of times, I was going to part it out but all the SVO freaks were going to curse a spell on me for parting out a rusted out shitbox. Finally some guy in CT offered me a pitifull amount of cash, and I took it just to get it out of my driveway. I lost a ton of money, but I soon after bought my GT. I still love the cars though. If i could find a mint 85.5 or 86 I would definatley consider it. Definatley a fun and cool car. Fuel injected turbocharged 2.3 in 84 is pretty sick. Koni adjustables all the way around stock, 4 wheel disc. Definitely ahead of their time!
Come to think of it, I've been seeing one sitting in a guys front yard in Poughkeepsie for so long. If i pass by there today I gotta remember to look to see if its still there. Its had a for sale sign on it for so long now.
