It's been a while since I have done anything with the mustang and figured I would throw a post up for it. I want to redo the interior of my car this summer/next few months. I'm accruing some parts right now and will be putting in a new sound system, nothing crazy, just something to overcome the exhaust and give the music some tone (speakers, head unit, amp, bigger wires, etc). Also, some sound deadening from Eastwood is going in to help combat the heat in the summer, with new black carpet, door panels, seat belts, seats, etc. I wanted to get the Corbeau TRS seats, but they are phasing them out and it would've been a 8 to 10 week lead time on them, at least. The LG1s would've been too short for me, so I went with the GTSII microsuede seats. I had the seat base shaved an inch because I heard that the aftermarket seats sit higher than the stock ones. Good thing I did too, I don't have a lot of room between my hood and the roof, maybe a inch and a half, hopefully I can still wear a helmet. Anyhow, I like the seats, much better than the 196k mile stock seats! Here's a few pics.
I couldn't wait to put these in, I know they will have to come back out again when I put in the new carpet and stuff, but at least I can enjoy them now.
