Hey Magic Mustang would be a great place for the car...I heard they are KB dealers so they could def. help you out!...I think you may be able to get a NYM DISCOUNT THERE ALSO!:headbang:
I have also heard that the gears are a great best bang for your dollar upgrade so If you just wanna get some more outta your car well your saving then you could do the gears first then keep saving for the KB!

So many different opinions! It's hard to decide what to do. I've never been to Mustang Magic but I'm dying to go, just to see the place and get their opinion, too. I was all set to do the throttle body/plenum upgrade and underdrive pulleys but then we throw in the idea of a supercharger and those all go out the window! I'm just not sure what to do. But I have to do something! I was out with my guys before and they all think its funny to tell me how slow I am =P

most importantly its ur car and you can do w.e you want with it, i was in ur situation not to long ago with an auto stang, i wanted power, but the one thing i always wanted was a kb so i decided to go that route and found out all those lil tricks with the tb, cai, udp, ect., with the gears if i wanted to go to the track with 4.10's ud be in 4th relined before you get to the end so i threw that out the window. but with w.e u are gonna do their will be people to help you every step of the way :awesomework:

Novels are fine, I appreciate all the help! So did you put the KB on your auto???
You know what my problem is? I'm more concerned with my car looking good, and the guys all tease me about putting money into cosmetics instead of power. At least my car looks awesome lol but I'm just about done with cosmetics, gonna buy some new wheels for my birthday on Friday and then I think we're set. Onto the power!!! :D

yeah, i was in the same dilemma ur on now, but a few months back. i decided that im going n/a her to the max. i know its gonna take some time, money, blood, sweat n tears. but i find it more rewarding than just slappin on a s/c n callin it a day.

i have alot of LS1 buddys in the 300-400 rwhp range. if i throw on a s/c i know what their reply is gonna be if i beat them in a race. "yeah, well u have a s/c, if i put one on too, i'll kill u'

That was exactly my point. I wanted to build the car up to its own potential. I don't really race, like I said, but I want to be able to say "Yeah I can beat you" if it ever came up.

I really don't know what to do. I'm so confused now!

Sounds like its all up too you making up your mind now....Everyone gets tuck in the same boat.....I just decided that I was going the NA route because it can morley be done in steps istead of dropping sutch a big chunk of money at once!
Either way you go GL with it!

I think I mentioned this before, but I have a friend who had a 1999 Trans Am, which supposedly had 540 HP (at the crank), with all bolt-on's, no forced induction. That's kind of what I wanted. I wanted to build up my engine, tranny, all that good stuff, and have a quick car, without putting on a supercharger or a turbo. I think I'd still like to go that route. I mean, it's possible, isn't it? Not every quick car has an s/c or a turbo! I think that's what I want to do. Build up my engine and make it fast on its own.

540 at the crank :confused:. he must have a really big engine being n/a. mike the site owner had all bolt ons, cams and just barely got over 300 hp to the wheels. but if you add a set of trickflow heads which are rated at 50 rwhp? i think then you should be were u want but with all of that taken care of you would be at about the same amount of money as a supercharger. just letting you know and i just love the wine of a kb that why im getting it prochargers would give me a headache at idle too many whistles sounds

^+1 the only better part about the NA route is that you can do it in steps......If your a good saver when it comes to your money then I would say keep saving for that KB....Nothing will give you what your looking for any better!

I'm definitely good at saving my money. I would like to supercharge one day but right now I'm just gonna work the car as it is. I'll keep saving up for it, though, and when it comes time I'll just make the necessary modifications. Tomorrow's my birthday and I'm buying myself a nice new set of wheels, then after that I'll start gathering up my parts :]

Actually two years ago I bought a set of wheels from a "friend" who said he'd get me a "good deal." They sent me different wheels from what I ordered, and he refused to take them back so I was stuck with them (the white and black ones in my pictures). They were supposed to be the white XXR 507 S-Series, but I got some other crap. And I do not like them anymore. I'm gonna get a set of white Saleen wheels from American Muscle. Everyone says "Ugh don't get white wheels", but I bought a white car because I saw a picture online of a white Mustang with white Saleen wheels and I fell in love. So that's what I'm getting. And I can't waaaiiitttttt

Nope, no city driving. Lots of local driving, back and forth to work, a cruise once in a while. Nothing crazy. I have 18's on it now and they've been on for about two years or so, so I'm good with that size.

I think I'm gonna lower the car a little bit, too. Get some better control arms, anti-sway bars, new shocks and struts. Get rid of that damn body roll.
