With a blower or Nitrous.... Its would be VERY hard and SUPER expensive to make 500HP with a 306 NA

At the crank, i am looking to be around 450ish N/A. Stock block with main stud girdle, stock rods, 10:1 pistons, Trick Flow twisted wedge heads that have had the exhaust ports raised now flow 300cfm, port matched super victor intake, pro system carb. Plus my ace in the hole EHA Racing building it and designing the cam. All said and done it should be in that range. Then we are going to spray it........ LOL

Shane is right on. Like he said he has a stock block, crank and rods because this is a class built car. It's all in the compression, heads, cam intake and carb. Cubic inches don't mean anything if you have the right combination made to work together. You will need to loose the heads and get some TEA twisted wedge heads, a custom grind solid roller (small duration & big lift) the right intake and a prosystems carb. 500hp is not that hard to do from a well built 306. Let me know if you get serious and we can get you something going.
