Canfields, custom solid roller cam, and a matching intake (I know virtually nothing about F.I. choices) would be the best 'bang for your buck.' Sure it will cost more now, but at least you have decent stuff that works together and you wont be replacing everything in a year.

It has to be re-wired. I'm not exactly sure how, I'm sure it can be found easily enough. Besides that it will work fine.

You just changed your mind from an automatic to a manual setup? :confused: Whatever you want to do man... it wouldnt be that hard I wouldnt think, hit up a junkyard for all the swap parts you need.

If your running out of gear with an aod-e, than that might be why you broke it. You never want to have to hit overdrive in the 1/4 mile. Overdrive is not there for speed, it's nowheres near as strong as the other gears. What were you doing when you broke the transmission?

How much are you willing to spend? a built c4 will cost alot less than a built aod-e and be somewhat stronger. But thats only 3 gears so if you do alot of highway cruising....
