Yes that is the water pump pulley.

You should notice a difference in the 93 octane tune for sure. I know some people had to run more than one tank of gas through it to get the computer to full advance the timing. 93 is a must for the full performance potential of this car. Who did the tune?? If you are just using the SCT tunes...

Reverse is non-syncronized. By doing what ull_lose says it will slow help line up the gears and allow a smooth shift.

How long has it been sitting for? It could be the injectors. Have you checked the plugs?

Or if you have a good place to rebuild it do that. There is a guy around here that does a great job on them. You can get an OEM Motorcraft one from Rockauto.com or maybe even Advance.

NGK TR6 gapped to .028 to .035

Definitely killed 3rd. You need at a minimum 3rd gear,cluster gear, and steel bearing retainer along with a rebuild kit. I'd have to look at it to tell if anything else is damaged but look real close at the forks and make sure they are not cracked.

Most guys that use MS are DIY type of guys, that is more the crowd it was made for. It is similar to most other speed density based setups though and anyone that can tune the others can probably do that as well.

His "the track is stupid" comments made me think he doesn't have the driving ability to get good times so is afraid to go lol. He wants to race everyone on the street and I along with most other people I know can't afford to lose our license or it will be our job gone too.

FYI on the street the 1.5 vs. 2.2 or 2.1 doesn't make a difference. The 2.1 or 2.2 actually runs hotter that is why you have to run a bypass on them.
