I know this isn't the right spot to post a wanted/classified ad,I posted a while back in the classified section .Basically I'm wondering if anybody knows of some decent places to get some used/takeoff parts for Foxbodies? My father has a car (1989 5.0 lx auto convertible) that cannot be driven...

Hey GT200, I'm glad to see you posted in here.Although I've always been primarily into the small block v8's,I own a couple of six cylinder early stangs(both 66's) I just sold a 68 6 cyl auto, power steering coupe back in october,it was a nice little car.I've been a member on fordsix.com for a...

    71-73 wheel backspacing

Off topic,I know but as far as the 9 inch rear you are going to run.You have a center section but no housing or axles? If that's the case I have a 9 housing and 2 pairs of axles (28 spline) That I'll never use and would be very willing to sell or trade.

    71-73 wheel backspacing

Hey, This can definately be a touchy subject.Unfortunately I can't tell you exactly for a 71-73.The first thing I was going to ask/recommend was where are you buying the rims? Most of the big rim companies can help you with this.Better yet if you were buying them from a rim and tire shop...

    1966 Mustang Project.

Hmm, This is a toughy. I think the first thing you should decide is what do you want to do with the car? Are you looking for a driver,a race car(Round track),a Drag car,a show car, etc?I assume you're building it to keep? What general type of budget are you looking to work within? That said The...

    Need some measurements.

The pictures that you posted are what I call sides. My thought at least for myself is if the original fender aprons are repairable ,I leave them. The only engine compartment piece that I usually change is the battery tray area.I hear you on the street legal bit, eventually I'm going to get my race...

    Need some measurements.

Hey, I hear what you're saying,I wouldn't do the compartment sides. I figure you will go into the rails when you go to change them and you will be able to get a better picture on the shock towers at that time. The coupe that I have appears to be straight? It's not a perfect rust free...

    Need some measurements.

Interesting, Sometimes it's really tough looking at photos(Love the photos, post more if you have them?).On the drivers side how does the rail look down around the steering box? Hey Jewele, I'm not sure exactly where in putnam you are located? 1QWKVERTS Offer doesn't sound bad looking at the mess you have on your hands. If it would help I've had a gang of foxbodies over the years including an 87 2.3L lx convertible. That said I have an 1988(same as 87) Mustang Electrical...

Hey, I can do this if you would like? Also keep in mind there's that guy with all of those early Mustangs sitting around(Me) that you can always go and take measurements from in person,if that would help? As far as a Jig what about installing an export brace and monte carlo bar for...

    Mustang Trivia

Ok ,so far I am loving the responses. So since this is new and I'm learning as I go instead of doing a reply to each answer/guess,I'm going to use my editing ability and go into each person's response? If that's ok with everyone? This is only the first 20 questions I seriously have an easy...
