Ok, in attempt to get a little life in this section,I'm going to start a little mustang Trivia game going in here.I've never started a post like this before so please bear with me.
My first thought is since I dreamt this up I get to post all of the questions,I figure I'll just keep adding them here as we go? This is in an attempt to keep it organized.
That said if you have trivia questions you would like added, please feel free to PM them to me and I will add them as I need to or see fit.
These questions will apply to Classic Mustangs specifically (No Shelbies,or classic Fords unless clearly noted) up thru the 1973 model year.
The questions will pertain to facts based on how cars were built, developed, designed, available when new, etc. In other words I don't want to hear about the car that came from the factory with the Chevy 350 in it,That your cousin used to own. Because we all know what has and can be done to these cars over the 40 plus years since they left the showroom.
I figure if we get enough participation maybe we'll open it up to include other years?
In order to play this game you need to own ar at least admit that the 73 and earlier Mustangs are the greatest cars ever built. If you own a "Late model" Mustang you have to sell or junk it,and promise you will buy or at least try to buy a classic Mustang before you proceed, with the Quiz.
The above statement is a complete joke and I wrote it to bust chops....Please disregard it!!!! (Although I do want you to admit the part about the early cars being the greatest cars ever built).
As I said above I will add more questions as time allows,I'm planning on throwing at least 100 questions out here.
I am writing these from the top of my head(I know,I have no life and way too many trivial facts rolling around in in my head) so try to answer them off the top of yours,Try not to "Google" or consult your shop manual ,remember what your teacher said "when you cheat you only cheat yourself".
If this gets enough of a following there may even be Mustang related prizes involved ? Or Not we'll see? (I've got a ton of Mustang crap laying around) There may even be a prize for last place (A wrinkled up,worn out Chilton's manual and a smack)So at least try to answer them, who knows you might learn something?
I'll list them with a number next to them,You reply can have the number with the answer,Please feel free to give long winded answers if you would like.
Last but not least this is being done for fun,So please keep it fun,It will give us something to do to help pass the time this winter. If you are too busy working on your car to participate,Please don't stop working we understand.
Some of the questions will be very easy(to boost your confidence)Some may be a little tricky(I hope?).
Ok,So here goes.
