Its probably gear whine. has the car been effed with at all? I put 3.73's in mine and they whine a bit between 40 and 50 mph. it drives me insane.

which procharger head unit do you have? If its the regular P1, you should definately look to upgrade to a F1 or at the very least a D1. Plus the intercooler will need to be upgraded. Plus internals, or a new block. Honestly, get a GT500.
