    Auto Transmission Problem: HELP

Northeastern Transparts in Hamburg (Buffalo). They are the best, hands down. I won't bring a transmission anywhere else.

    Hey Doug

Yes I was running 8's with an r302. 360 ci nitrous. 8,000 rpm. There are small differences on the outside but an average joe probably wouldn't notice.
  11. EHA Racing

    Hey Doug

Hey man, The R302 will is rated to 1,000 FWHP but I would not be scared to make 1,200 with it either. They are a Ford aftermarket block and were not used in production.

got car tuned and it runs like complete sh*t

I've had some lengthy conversations with Mike at Powerhouse 411 in Erie, Pa. Very knowledgable and only tunes Mustangs. I'm bringing him a car to tune this coming week. If all goes well he most likely be the tuner my go to guy for EFI stuff.

got car tuned and it runs like complete sh*t

I have done some work on the car but we don't do EFI tuning. Carbs, nitrous and suspension tuning is my specialty.

    Choosing an Intake manifold....

I'm building a boosted car with a Systemax right now. I believe it has been out much longer than the RPM II lol. Anyways, you have a lot of things going on here. Are you planning on building a stroker? AFR 205's and Vic. Jr's are too big for a 302 / 306 unless they are specific to a large...

    Choosing an Intake manifold....

Honestly they both fit nice. Should be similar for power but given the 2 choices I would say the systemax is capable of more.
  18. EHA Racing

    Let's play a game......

Sure, we made a few shakedown runs with it to tune the suspension and carb but it's built to run with nitrous only. Only runs 12.40's N/A but that's good in my book. The heads, intake, cam, and converter are totally wrong for an N/A combo. LOL.

    Choosing an Intake manifold....

What's a short band? It has a 4,500 rpm of "usable" power band which is plenty. The TFS Track Heat lower can be ported as well yes. It's also a very nice intake.

    Choosing an Intake manifold....

    Cheap, reliable or fast.........Pick 2 :D
