Talked to the builder. Engine needs a bore. 030 over. So new flat tops are going to be installed. He is also looking into stronger rods. I guess I really didn't know they were weak?

Engine is at the shop! He is pricing some builds for me. Here we go!

Still haven't had any time to work on this. I will make some this Saturday. Going to try to get it to the machinists also on Sat.

Got my arp short poly locks in the mail today. I need to pull a few more things off the engine, for now the plan is to go to the shop next week.

Thanks! Been working extra hours and odd jobs to bank for the short block build. I wanted to have it ready to go to the machinists this weekend but the timing cover and pan are still on it. I have to attend a wedding tomorrow, so maybe a chance Sunday.

More pictures of the radiator and OEM cap. Got the other head off and cylinders look about the same as the other side. Just need to rip off a few more things and then i can take it to the builders.

Sold the tall poly-Locks and stud girdle and bought a set of arp pro short 12 point locks. My beither has a friend who is trying to fix a set of older cobra short valve covers. Almost to the short block, hopefully another week or so then I can work on getting it built.

have a set of convertible style stock motor mounts for an 87-93 fox mustang. These may fit older foxes but I personally don't know for sure. They are less than a year old, and are in excellent condition. Rubber is all in tact. Had to go with taller mounts due to my 351w swap. Asking $30...

Found this place called Fenix radiators, may be taking a chance on them as they are dirt cheap. This 3 core all aluminum radiator was $126 total. We will see how it works!

Pulled the head off. Still lots of cross-hatching in the cylinder with only a few smooth looking spots. Virtualy no ridge at the top of the cylinder at all.
