Came into work this morning and looks like the rubber band and glue techniques worked pretty well. I also picked up an ash tray lid repair kit. Someone already tried to fix it; hopefully I can fix it again.

Parts are ordered. Will be bored 30 over. New hyper flat tops and all new bearings. Will be nice getting my engine back ready to drop right in the car.
