I just test drove a 2016 GT PP a few weeks ago, to see what it had, real nice ride, has a lot of the stuff I had to add to my 2006 GT to get it how I wanted it. It just lacked about 140hp from my 2006 Supercharged GT. I did like the 16, but can't take the hit on a trade, I've got about $65k...

Are you talking about the Black Saleen Vert or the 2015 GT PP Race Red ?

On Cargurus I saw a 2015 Mustang Perf. Package in Vestal NY call the dealer for a test drive 1-844-701-9883 stock #UC4653 500 miles on it Guard Green color $31000. May be at a GM Dealer.

The one I test drove was a 6 sp manual, Test drive one like the one I drove the Performance Package lower, stiffer, staggered tires, brembo brakes they are nice, you will love it, it doesn't do what my 2006 4.6 Supercharged does, but is very fast !

The GT Performance Package is the one you want, I test drove one 5.0 V8 373 gears standard shift, real nice, fast ! you can likely find a 2016 marked down to $35,000 , because the 17's are coming out now. They say the 4cyl turbo just doesn't sound like a Mustang should. Nothing beats a V8 !

Did you go with the stock or the heavier ft. lb. clutch ?
