what heads do you guys recommend for my 93 gt?

I'm beat and ready to go to bed but, just wanted to respond quick. I know people who have dumped $600 after purchase into a set of GT40s to run mid 13's. To run a cam big enouph to get any real horsepower out of them, I'd add Screw in studs. I personally wouldn't put a set of high mileage $200...

what heads do you guys recommend for my 93 gt?

Thanks, for the link. We're looking for dyno graphs in the 2500RPM range, which really hard to come by. Most guys aren't dynoing this low. Probably have to ourselves when convenient.

what heads do you guys recommend for my 93 gt?

Are you looking for exaples to proove what I am saying is wrong? Trying to find exact same comparisons isn't as easy as it sounds, I don't own a dyno shop. You can find alot of info backing up what I'm saying, and plenty of what you're saying. I'm not going to cut and paste, it's tacky. LOL With...

what heads do you guys recommend for my 93 gt?

Just as a round about, guessing a stick take around 10% off for drivetrain loss. The 289 at 2800 rpm you'll end up with damn close to the same numbers. This is all speculation any way seeing we can't compare apples to apples. For a long term example, I picked up a 331 cheap for my wifes car with...

    15x8 vs 15x10 prostars

15x 10 6.5 BS you'll have to loose the quad shocks as stated, roll the lips(unless your car sits high in the back), and do quite a bit of massaging with a sledge hammer to your wheel wells. 15x8 5.5 BS if it sits low, you may have to do the same but ALOT less of it... based on a 28x10.5 or 275/60

what heads do you guys recommend for my 93 gt?

Still looking for actual graphs, haven't had much time, but here is a runn down of a guy on another boards run down of his dyno. Cafield 195 heads on a pump gas 289 +.060 So those heads would be "HUGE" for that motor right. Quoted from 289nate SBFtech... With Jay's help my junk made 400 hp at...

what heads do you guys recommend for my 93 gt?

I'll try and dig up some dyno graphs for comparison, probably won't be off the same dyno but will which type dyno will be shown. It's a newer way of thinking, with bigger heads on a small motor, so it's hard to get people out of the old way of thinking. Better flowing heads can run a smaller cam...

what heads do you guys recommend for my 93 gt?

Well to be fair, if you want to see a comparison you'll have to use the same dyno. Intake cam events becomes more crytical using a "big" head, they'll take all the lift they can handle, duration, and LSA will determine where the power band is and how it's spread out. ACS on a TW 170 is closer to...

what heads do you guys recommend for my 93 gt?

Trick flow TWs, better valve placement/angles unshrouds the valve, shorter intake runner= less advertised cc but same Average cross section of bigger heads. You can mill the crap out of a TW for better comp ratio. Always check PR length and PV clearance, no matter what head you choose. I agree...

    rear main

That stuff works great, I used it on the soft plugs on my 351W block, after hearing of some guys popping them from block flex on higher HP motors.
