That might be it. I know down low my car makes no boost or very little. Mine really doesn't start to make boost until 4000 or so. Then starts to take off boost wise over 5000.
I know on my car I had a hard time getting the MAF in the right location last year. I keep getting a turbulent signal, which makes the maf count go crazy. The end result was an erratic idle condition. My car might be a little bit more sensitive to it, do to the fact that it has cams in it.
looks good so far. One comment, be careful with the spectre connectors. Some of them are NOT meant to have pressurized air go thru them. They'll blow up like a balloon under boost. If you look at the connector on the side and you can see the cords in it, then they are OK. If not they are the PVC...
Kind of when ever. Normally people started getting there around 9ish and are there till when-ever. I'm not sure what time I was thinking either. I need to mow my lawn and clean the car tonight. Also depends on if I get interested in something on TV.
That is not my car or set-up, just a random picture. On a procharger it's in the tube coming from intercooler to the TB.
Here is a picture of mine (during mock-up). The MAF is the straight section in the back of the pipe. I'm running a slot style sensor:

You would have to have one made up. Or try to buy the intercooler to TB from a procharger set up.
If the maf is to close to a bend the car will "hunt" terrible with the turbulent air going thru the MAF.
The only thing I would be concerned about is how close the maf is to the bend before/after it. You can try it that way and data log your maf count. If you get a big fluctuation in the counts then the maf is to close to the bends. (before or after).
Re: 2004 Mustang GT Part Out (JLT Intake, MGW shifter, Projector Lights, 4:10 gears,
I have a stock intake manifold if you're looking for one. Let me know.
I don't want to insult you price wise, but I'll take them if we can agree, not sure what you are thinking. Can you send me a picture of them? jpicc72@gmail.com
