If he's gonna run a carb setup then that's the cheapest way to do it, but in the long run its still a 351, 2 bolt main block with more room to bore out vs. stock 302. Best investment is a 4 bolt main block!

Got that right! You deff need a 4 bolt main block as your foundation and build from there. This hobby ain't cheap at all, it's a never ending project well atleast for me it is.
