I got nervous today and removed the fuel tank to do the pprv delete. I didn't have any problems with my old setup (500whp) but I don't want to regret not doing it now, seeing as though it is laid up until the roads clear. Just waiting for the new hose to get here now. It has snowed the last few...

    i need a shorter antenna!!!

You can pull the ball off of the top of the stock antenna, cut and file it, and glue to ball back on. I am sure the reception must get worse but it does work. Otherwise, you can buy a shorty antenna from american muscle for $20.

    2012 Lava Red

Brian is coming out tomorrow (Thursday) morning, about 10ish or so. I can't wait to see it. If you can pry yourself out of bed that early stop by. I am going to try to get my car as far along as I can afterward. Justin found me a 4" coupler and I just ordered it, so that my be the last piece of...

Stock bottom end? Do you want the D1 because you plan on building the motor down the road?

    Wtb procharger

Just re-read the thread. I didn't know you were looking for a D1. Do you have a built motor? What mods do you have already?

On an 01 cobra with supporting mods, an intercooled P1SC with a 3.9" pulley, you should see roughly 425 rwhp. This is just about your glass ceiling unless you plan on building the motor. (The rule of thumb is to stay below 450 whp on a stock bottom end. Some guys have surpassed this mark with no...

    2012 Lava Red

No, they have the Aveo and they are going to get another beater before next winter. Personally, I don't think I would be driving it right now, but I know how hard it is to wait too.

    Let the 2011 MODS begin...

I have a set of bare FLSFCs in my garage waiting to be welded in also. I felt the same about the powder coated. They look good undoubtedly but I didn't want to have to grind them down to be welded.

Thanks guys. The only reason it took that much time is I was stupid and had to cut through the chrome and copper. I should have just tried to find new tail pipes!

Yeah you will. It is coming along. I got the coolant expansion tank back from Bobby and have to drop it off to Mat now. One of the last few things I need. The belt is on the way, the boost gauge is here. The only things I have to get are a pillar pod and figure something out with my cai. Now, to...

I just got my JLT oil separator and pre-filter in the mail today. Looks like a nice piece. I should have a chance within the next couple of days to get it on.

I had to pull the front bumper off to paint the heat exchanger brackets. I figured while it was off I would stencil SVT. I would have done cobra but it is 2 more letters.... That was hard enough. lol

When I polished my exhaust I screwed up the chrome on the tips. A buddy and I sanded through the chrome and copper to polish the tips. Not perfect, but with a combined 16 hours of wetsanding the tips alone, good enough!
