    Yesterday after work I drained what was left of the fluid in the T-5 trans, & today I installed the trans & the shifter in the Coupe.

    Today was a nice day in the low 80's so my wife & I decided to install the engine in the Mustang. I did the grunt work & she operated the engine hoist.

    Today before it got too hot & humid I installed the new harmonic balancer instead of using the 32 year old Ford one, installed the 10.5" King Cobra clutch disc, pressure plate, & installed the bell housing.

    Today I removed the engine from its stand & placed it on a dolly & installed the engine block plate & the flywheel.

    Thanks Stu. Today was a beautiful day so I rolled the engine out of the garage today & did a little more work on it. I installed the intake manifold, distributor, water pump, & the dip stick tube. It looks sooooo much better Ford blue then the black the machine shop painted it.

    The more I looked at the engine I could not stand it painted black, so I picked up some period correct Ford blue & painted it. I have to pull the timing cover so I could drill the hole for the dip stick & paint it

    Thanks Bruce, we are getting better. The headers are Hedamn Elite ultra duty #-88408 HTC coated headers for a 302. My builder was supposed to get a dyno run done before I picked it up I will have to check with him if they did. My builder said it would probably have around 300 HP.

    Today I made a trip to a local metal supplier & picked up a pair of 2x2x6' steel square tube so I can start to fabricate a set of home made sub frame connectors.

    When it comes to the relays for the cooling fans do NOT cheap out, either use the ones I am using in the link or use the Derle controller.

    Nice work. I am using the same cooling fans on my 69 Coupe from a 2000 Contour V-6 run through dual circuit breakers & fan relays. Here is a link to the relay kit I am using...
