Welcome to NYM, & congrats on your first classic Mustang.

Today it was rainy so I could not work outside so I spent some time in the garage & started wrapping the engine bay harness.

Today I installed the radiator, hooked up the cooling fans, & started hooking up the hoses. With the radiator installed I have about 1" of clearance between the water pump pulley bolts & the cooling fan shroud.

Wired in the new alternator & did the final install.

This past weekend I upgraded the Mustangs charging system from the anemic 1G alternator to a 3G alternator & it bolted right up to the stock brackets even with the 1987 standard rotation water pump with only having to add a 3/4" spacer to the bottom bolt of the main alternator bracket.

Now that the drive train is in & all hooked up it is time to turn my attention back to the wiring. Started hooking up the wiring from the Pertronix ignition box to the coil & the distributor, run the wires to the temp, oil pressure sender. & temp sender for the electric cooling fans. I also...

The more I looked at where I originally installed the ignition box on the drivers side front inner fender panel, the more I did not like where I mounted it. So I made a bracket for it mounted the ignition box to the bracket & mounted it to the r/s rear inner fender panel using the coil spring...

Today I finished welding up the drivers side sub frame connector & put on some black paint to protect the bare metal. Here is a pic of l/s & r/s connectors.

Yesterday I finished mocking up the drivers side sub frame connector, now I just have to finish welding it up.

I know what you mean about the pale yellow, my 69 Coupe was originally Meadowlark Yellow to me it looked more like beige/tan then yellow.

Today was a productive day, I installed the shortened Explorer aluminum driveshaft, made a bracket for the EFI fuel filter, & started working on the drivers side sub frame connector.

Today I picked up the Explorer aluminum driveshaft from the driveshaft shop that I had shortened for the 69 Coupe. Mike your 70 Mach looks great, that is like the color I want to paint my 69 Coupe. I have settled on having it painted chrome yellow from a 1999 Mustang.

Today I finished the passengers side sub frame connector. Mike I believe both of the wings are plastic.

A few weeks ago I saw that the rear spoiler that is on my 69 Coupe is warped & I remember that a friend on another forum had one for sale but is is just the wing part, no stands which was fine for me since I already have the stands. I made a deal with him & he sent it to me. Here are a couple...

Yea I hear you Mike, mine is probably going to be another year until I get to drive mine, & then comes paint unless life gets in the way again.

Mike we could meet up there when both of our Mustangs are done & running. LOL.
