my biggest problem is i am an engine noob...so i have to pay ppl to do everything (for fear of really screwing something up)...just wanted the most reliable easy to get power...if its carb ill go carb if its efi ill go efi...my biggest problem with efi is all the computer reliable info...i mean...

so by toilet im taking it you mean carb...i know stupid question but you never know what someones thinking..lol

also note i do not have a laptop :(

so if i want to build off my current setup what should be my next step? thing is around me i have alot of older car guys who always dealt with carbs...thats why i was thinking maybe it would be easier to have someone tune it around here if it was carbed. its a toss up right now ill tell...

i have surging idle etc and i think it would be easier to solve with a carb setup...i dont live anywhere near any kind of tuning place so its not easy for me to get it tuned. i love the look of the engine bay when its carbed...all nice and clean :D but im asking for ppls opinions b/c obviously...

all the engine work was done by the previous owner and a little bit was done before he got it...i never got a "build sheet" ,if you will. so im not exactly sure what was done other than what i can see and what he remembered so...

i to am thinking carb....i live 3+ hours from the nearest tune...why spend more money for power...if youre going for 800-1000hp i would ditch my 302 anyways...since im looking for a fast streetable 350-400hp i think ima sell my efi and use the money to buy my carb stuff (plus the engine bay...

actually ive been reading about the efi to carb swap...been having idle issues etc and dont live anywhere at all close to a place to do a tune...i am a noob so what does H/C/I stand for?

i may jump on the carb wagon....sounds like its the better way to go but i want to hear from those who have....thanks
