We usually just use cell phones. Not sure what other crews who travel together do. The last big NYM cruise I was on, we all had the directions, tried to stay together, didn't always work, but all arrived safe.

I would go to Waldo first and see what he says. Then if he recommends going to a shop, call Rob and Dan at Realspeed.
