take the serp belt off, start the car. If the noise is still there than its in the motor. If not, than its one of your accessories.

Ya I was told that also. However it truly is in rear end. New fluid and now it's quieter after doing it. So I've ordered a complete rebuild kit

I run RP in all my cars/trucks. Never any issues.

Changed fluid, it still does it however nowhere near as loud/aggressive as before. So I'm buying a rear end rebuild kit and a new diff. That'll fix it!

I'll swap fluid today. Friction additive at advance auto?

99k on car. I may just swap the clutch pack and fluid since I have all the parts for it. As for friction additive, I have royal purple fluid therefore I don't need it I was told. And no this has been happening for a month or so, nothing to do with curb incident.
