Must be from valve float, from being over revved in downshift

Bent valve, Inspected further, the bearings for connecting rod/crank were smooth and fine, torqued all back down and soon going to start re-assembly soon... Just debating on what to do about heads...

Don't want to spend that much... Going to be keeping stock block for now. I'm thinking aluminum heads, comp cam, and just rebuild it back up

Take the whole motor out and clean then re-install! That's what seems to happen I ever think about it too hard.... Well ok, I'm lying. I generally blow up my motor, then I clean it all while I'm in there. I guess it's a bitter sweet moment... I'd rather just let it stay dirty sometimes :p...

Depending on funds, somebody on here has an aluminum headed 302 I have my eyes on. But that all depends on how bad my motor is, and if my other crap-o-laa sells :p Usuaully have trouble trusting anyone on craigslist for a whole motor that they say 'runs great' with no proof or anything ya kno?

Funny thing is the only part of this car that really needed a good cleaning and elbow grease was the engine bay... So now I do have a reason to pull it... Hopefully I'll get a decent motor with some work already into it or something along those lines so it's a little quicker than how it started...

All I have left is bolts holding motor to bellhousing, two ground wires, and the motor mounts. Hopefully engine will be out later this weekend and I will have a good chance to check it out and figure out what my route will be...
