Do you have the aftermarket double din plate to hold the bigger after market unit or are you making one ? When I put just a regular unit in my 93 the bottom of it was off the carpet by about a 1.5". I don't think a double will fit.

The spacer the guy sells on the corral tons of people have used them. As far as stacking washers I wouldn't do that either ! Good luck, it's your coin.

Why not use spacers and keep the fox ones ? Guy on the corral sells them or you can stack 2 heavy duty washers (not what id do) but people do it.

Is this what the difference is between 94/95 spindles and using newer spindles ? Stacking washers or a spacer. I'm just getting ready to start buying things and I can get 96 and up spindles for cheap compared to 94/95 spindles. Not trying to thread jack just figured while were on the subject.

Proformance it's on main st right at the beginning of north goodman , not sure about cheap but he's good at what he does and will work with you , payments and sourcing parts if need be.

I only said bent arm because adding fuel started the car. Could be something easy or hard. I agree with the above post. Few simple tests will eliminate a lot. You could fill it up with gas and do some math to see if the amount you added computes to what may be in it before you fill it. ?

Maybe someone did a pump in it and bent the arm and now a qtr tank is your new empty ? My first car read half a tank all day And that sucked
