PS angie I love your louvers. Ive went through two sets on my new edge so far, one plastic one that warped, and one aluminum set that has a terrible fit so now I don't run any and I hate it.

haha i didn't know thats what you needed it for. But ya, as long as your tires aren't bald and your CEL is off, you will pass more times than not. For $21, garages don't wanna spend any more time on your car than they have to. I've personally seen an inspection done within 3 minutes start to finish.
Anyone near Buffalo interested in the 94-04 aluminum louvers sold on americanmuscle.com? I'm selling a set for $80 (youll have to buy new mounts for $25), Want to get rid of these!

No problem. Before I do any exhaust mods, ill spend hours on youtube just listening to the differences. I'm sure there are tons of videos out there that will show you a before and after clip of an O/R H-Pipe so you'll have a good idea of what the difference will be.

Yeah I havent seen a lot of those cars before. Was a pretty good time.
So its my first time doing a little exhaust work on an 04 mustang. Whats the easiest way to get it up on 4 points? I have ramps. Do I either A) Drive the front wheels onto the ramps, jack up the rear by the differential and then support with jackstands or B) Reverse onto the ramps, jack up the front and support with jackstands? Im leaning towards B since I can apply the handbrake while jacking up the front.

Wasn't sure if crossmember was strong enough. That's why I didn't suggest it. I know my Mountaineer with the 4.6 in it has a crossmember that I use but wasn't sure the Mustang had the same one. Only thing you may need to do is support the car on the sub frame so that axle will drop down making it easier to get the pipes over it. Hard to explain with out seeing the car.

I just used ramps under the rear wheels to put my catback on

Update: Managed to replace everything. Had the fronts on ramps and the rears were just on some 2x6 planks of wood, gave me just enough room.
Anyone know of a 94-98 white saleen that sounds like a jet engine? Drove behind him on the I90 today in Buffalo, I kept waiting to see some flames shoot out the jack whenever he took his foot off the gas. Sounded mean.
Any recommendations for mechanics in the buffalo area specializing in exhausts? Mine got banged up driving it in the winter, when I took a look myself it looked like the manifold/flange gasket bolt was stripped.

I went to mufflerman before I put it away, he didn't even mention the stripped bolt and said I needed a whole new cat assembly. Now NY has to be carb compliment so that'll be a lot of money. I'm located in west Seneca but I wouldn't mind driving a half hour or so.

Edit: he mentioned I needed a new cat assembly because he heard a bunch of small leaks but I think its just a leak at the flange gasket.

Contact Kling Brothers on Clinton and Borden Roads. Phone number is 716-668-9110. They also inspect so they will know what repairs are necessary.
