Been off here for a while it seems! A lot of fishing and weekends out east. The car has not been detailed since May :( BUT the paint is still sealed and beads water like a pro. Maybe this weekend ill tend to her if its not too hot out :D
Needed to restock the car cleaning cabinet. Ordered new edgeless microfibers from Chemical guys and a bunch of stuff from Adams Polishes (adams is having a 15% off sale with free shipping after spending $75, i saved $50 on my order)
Update: Car still sucking it up on performance. After bringing it to Realspeed, no physical problem was found. Rob recommended to bring it back in a few weeks and put it on the dyno and figure out what the hell is wrong with it (plus then the car gets custom-tuned :D ). As of now, the gears feel sloppy. Car should be louder at lower RPMs.
Ill be visiting Realspeed for a check up this Saturday. Beyond happy they're able to take a look. I'm very confident they will find out what the hell is wrong with the car...
More updates: 1. IM GRADUATING!!! (took long enough :nono: ) 2. the car is still not running right. Trying to get in contact with Realspeed to see of they can find the issue but I realize they're incredibly busy at the moment.
Update: Car passed inspection, front brakes changed, coolant flushed, throttle body cleaned out. 93 OCT tune put back on, but the car is still missing its old "oomph". Going to try to reset throttle control from fuse box after re-installing tune. It worked last year, I'm hoping for the same tomorrow.
Really starting to think the clutch went in the car :/ I had to set default tune for inspection this week. I will set it back to 93 OCT after it passes, run it a lot and hopefully it was just the computer making the mistake of saying on economy mode (which happened to be last years problem, but not to this extent).
Someone please chime in: thought something was wrong with the car. Both pedals seem to be stiff and choking lately. Mechanic did full diagnostic test and nothing came up, physically everything looks fine. Im seriously considering if the BBK intake has something to do with it, being it connects to the vacuums that control the pedals. Anyone have this issue? Filter is due for a cleaning!
