Well, went out to Patchogue this morning to find out there was no event happening today. The weather was beautiful but I guess the forecast scared (almost) everyone away. Why not everyone? Went to captree soon after and found were the garage queens met up. Everyone was coming and going and it was BITTER. All in all, a nice island drive was completed and the car is super clean, inside and out. It won't be moving from the driveway until the salt is gone (if the state decides to use it).
A ton of shows on LI coming up within the next few months! First one was supposed to be tomorrow but it looks like old man winter will have his way for the last time, assume the show will be moved to 4/3!
Last years success for collecting donations for St. baldricks was absolutely incredible. Although it was short notice, generous donors helped me raise $1,115 IN A DAY (thats almost $50 per hour!!!).
Please click the link above to be forwarded to my homepage on St. baldricks website. Deadline to donate is March 19th!! The goal this year is $1,500. If the donations add up to over $2,000, I may lose the eyebrows to the barber (i'll keep you guys posted :D )
Thank you all who donate in advance, your generosity is appreciated beyond words!
Even though the car has paint sealant applied on it from 2 1/2 months ago (still doing a fantastic job with this weather) the car will be cleaned this weekend!!
New exhaust came in the mail. Installed it within an hour, no instructions necessary. Cold start sounds outstanding, revving is absolutely perfecttttt. A lot of gurgle, VERY little rasp. Very happy with this exhaust, i'd recommend it for any owner with a V6!!
Has anyone ever heard of Trident Motorsports? Was looking at a set of axle backs from there: Great price for 350, sound like the Roush axle backs i want (a tad too expensive), limited warranty, look good, free shipping, VERY solid reviews.
