Safe to say our first detailing customer was very pleased with the work we did earlier today. After a wash, clay bar, sealant and wax application the color on the car popped much more than before. the texture of the paint was paper smooth as well. The car is 100% show ready and I'm sure the judges who see it will be as impressed with the results as the owner was.

Pocono trip was a huge success. Elmo was clean and ran like a dream after the water pump issue. Took some great photos of the car in the pit area of Pocono Raceway (ill get those up eventually) and saw Aristeros ripping up the track like it was his job!!!

some sort of good news, ill be working full time for the rest f the summer which means this problem and any others that arise will be handled properly. Other good news is that the new parts for elmo are in, car is in the shop. Will hopefully be fixed by tomorrow afternoon. Awaiting the results, needs to be ready for the Poconos for the weekend!!
Bad news for Elmo, coolant has been leaking from the water pump area for quite some time (front of engine block near the pulley area). car was sidelined for the weekend, sitting under its tarp in the driveway. Fix will be conducted either monday or tuesday depending when the new parts come in. Missing the baby more than ever... :(
Car was washed, clay barred, sealed, sealed again, waxed and detail sprayed. Needless to say this car is SPOTLESS and ready for the upcoming July 4th weekend.

Took dad for a ride in the car today. I happened to have the AC on an hit the pedal not too hard. He gave a WTF out of shock that it jumped that much. Didnt say a word: turned off the AC, nailed the throttle and he nearly shit himself out of excitement. How could I not grin :D ?
Happy to say that the detailing biz is really starting to take off, just gave two estimates over the past week! Cannot wait to get the cars done and fully cleaned.

INTAKE ISSUE SOLVED: restarted ECU, car now hits 7,000 RPM. Need to beat on the throttle a little so the tune stays in place instead of being in Eco-Mode. Thanks for the input, everyone!
