...I'm just hoping they hook!!

...Anyone install & IRS Brace? ...Do you have to drop the right muffler/tailpipe OR can you snake in it?

I think you have to remove the right muffler tailpipe in order to gain access to all of the bolts. It sure makes things a lot easier.

It is not that bad of an install and taking off the right side muffler/tailpipe isn't that bad. I would recommend you do it and save yourself a bunch of headaches!

...Looked at it again last night...Right muffler/tailpipe dropped as one would make the job A LOT better! ...I will lool into this once I sell some parts! :evil:

Best way of doing it is to drop the pumkin, You have to tap the screws that hold the Brace on to the pumkin and it's not an easy task with it in place and Yes the pipes have to come out

...Just installed mine yesterday! BF ftw!! see post #45 ^^^ ...did not have to tap...some do, some don't! :evil:

Installed the IRS Brace today. I couldn't break the front differential bolts free with my 1/2 drive, so I had to run out to sears and get a 18inch breaker bar. That did the trick. Torquing the bolts was a bit of a pain, my torque wrench is 18inches long and was a pain to maneuver. Overall it wasn't too bad...

...I used my legs and a wrench!! ...went out after a bought a 18" breaker bar!

Top two bolts I torqued to 24ft/# by hand (1 grunt = 24ft/# for me)...:smash:

I got around today to installing my PFab Radiator Tank today! ...the only PROBLEM, :mad: when attempting to drain the fluid out of the radiator, the pet cock stopped about 1/2 out and the end snapped! (still have to get that out) :thumbsdown: ...ended up draining the radiator by pulling off the lower radiator hose!

I called Steve at Tousley Ford and he said this happens a lot with all the heat cycles, so I ordered the $4 rad drain part! My local Ford tech says the radiator is shot!! ...Question: Has this happen to anyone?? It's a plastic plug, can I just drill this out?? :confused:

I really don't want to go out an get a new radiator if I don't have too....So now I'm sitting tight waiting for the new $4 part!!

The tank looks awesome. I want one, but the funds are drying up...lol. That sucks about the radiator, sounds like something that would happen to me. Did it break flush?

Worst case if I have problems with the plug would be to have an aluminum plug or bung welded on...I'll see once I get the new part!

Well, I started working on the eaton removal today. There wasn't anyone around to help me lift the eaton out, but it ended up being pretty easy. It took about 2 1/2hrs. I just hope I can remember where everything goes when it's time to install the Whipple.

Yeah, I have everything sitting in my spare bedroom...60lb injectors, BAP, SCT 2600, Billetflow TB+Idlers, ect. The only necessary things I haven't gotten are a smaller upper pulley(not sure which size to get) and a SCT handheld.
