Whining Noise ??

I was wondering if anyone could help me out. In my brothers 2003 Stang, we hear a whining noise as soon as you start the car. Noise occurs all the time, does not change while driving or idling. Has anyone heard a noise similar to this or have any idea as to what it could be??

power steering or most likely your alternator.

Or even MORE likely its your wife or girlfriend. Try starting it when they are in the house. Worked for me.

Once THEY start whineing they dont stop no matter how much you oil them.

Where is it coming from? I know there was someone who recently had a problem with their fuel pump whining which is more towards the rear of the car.

It isnt the power steering, when we lift the hood to listen, it sounds like its coming from the part closest to the windshield if that makes sense. I wasn't sure if alternators made noise when they were going?

Try to find a noise like that with a SC whistling also.:smash:
