im with maximum risk. looks like the 3g swap. go to autozone and get the lifetime warranty on one..its like 130 with the core you have last i checked..the warranty is worth every penny IMO...

looks nothing like 96-98 one, not sure which ones were used in 94-95.
why won't you just the factory one?

the factory ones suck and you cant run an electric fan with them very safely..plus the little wires are known for burning up....im pretty sure i told the autozone guys to look up the alt off a 95 mustang for my setup

well i bought the car with that it must be upgraded cause it does have an electric fan

yeah its deff upgraded..its a 3g 130 amp prob. heres a link to a quick search i did..looks like it matches up with a 96-98 4.6...ive got the 94-95 5.0 3g alt..the swap is a nice upgrade..like i said i like having the lifetime warranty and they are about the same price as anywhere else without warranties at autozone

looks like it...obviously bring the one you have in as a core so its cheaper..you can also compare the new alt to the one you have...ask for a 96 4.6 mustang alt first because thats what it looks like (from the internet pics)..you will find out real quick if they are the same
