What batt to go with?

I will never, ever, ever, ever buy another Optima red top. They are junk!!! Nothing but problems, they take special chargers and if you jump them once they are shot. AGM batteries FTL!!
Anyways, I just put Excell acid battery in the Booger and it works AWESOME!!! Shane put a Interstate in his car and it works AWESOME!!!
Both had red tops and both lasted a week with high amp alternators. Burned up 2 red tops in the Booger last year, Never again!!

'02 PSD Super Duty.
My brother replaced the original Motorcrafts in his pickup, and less then a year later they could not turn the motor over fast enough to start.(and would not hold a charge) Wal-Mart honors the warrantee and replaces both for free. They last only 10 months before they also give up. He was able to get Wal-Mart to refund the full price of the batteries. He went with Sears, not the very top of the line, but the step below that.

Optima batteries are damn heavy. I bought an Eveready that weighs 30 lbs and never had a problem Also Exide makes a good battery. I run the Exide in my minivan and wife's CRV. But the Eveready is pretty light. I weighed it on our bathroom scale.

Well I was told by a Optima rep that if a Optima goes dead you have to charge it a certain way(think there is a video on U Tube on how to charge one) so I decided I didnt like that and went with a Sears Die hard gold.
I got a 700cca batt which was the biggest I could find that would fit in the box in my hatch.I did have a Wal-Mart batt that was 540cca but it just didnt have enough juice.
Not sure why but the Wal Mart batt kept going dead after sitting.I think it was just too small.Thanks for all the input.
