like 5 cars around my area that are pretty much an even 12.5 1/4mile cars and i'm one of them..looking to get a little more so i can beat them..they say 450 is pushing the envelope on the 2v's.i'd be happy around 425. just gotta figure out how to get there(i guess i could get a smaller pulley for the KB)...open to idea's and opinons.

But like you said....you could prob just change the pulley and go for a bit more boost!:evil:

can push through all the air you want- if you cant get rid of it, whats it worth?

throw some longtubes on it.

what are you running for suspension? if you are running stock, or just some springs, LCAs, adjustable dampers, and such will make big difference. you could have 1000rwhp- but if you cant hook, its worth dick.

Exactly what I was going to say. Throw some long tubes and an X or H pipe on there and you will be close to your goal. I highly recommend American Racing Headers

What brand & type of suspension mods are you people talking?...idk shit about suspension...and i want 2 do the longtubes & offroad pipe but kennebell says you wont gain much?

Long tubes and an off road X will get you a good amount of power since you already have the blower. I would be careful with adding more boost, the 2v's run a big risk of puking the rods once you beyond 11 PSI or so.

275-40-17 Nitto 555R's...think i will be getting either the BFG Radials or getting a smaller rim and slicks for these race nights.

yes 100% factory set up. all the stuff u wrote be-4 about the suspension made no sense 2 me:smash:..so if you could explain or send me links for the parts that would be great.

I have another car i drive to work 90% of the time but drive my mustang a decent amount on nice days/weekends...and yes the KB is the intercooled kit and yes stock exhaust with flowmaster cat back.


sorry it took me a few days 2 answer. just got home from the hospital, had 2 get my apendix removed...so i will be on the site alot the next week or so.. all the info i can get the better

hahhaa 14-15lbs on a stock motor.that'll last..an hour lol...or do i save my money and just wait 2 build it?
what parts/brand you you guys recomend to build it to handle 14-15 lbs?..links with prices would be great.

well, as you said with exhaust, I would get some headers and a midpipe. that will get your power about where you want.

as for suspension- are you looking for 1/4 mile times, or handling?
