well im piecing together my own supercharger kit. i found a thread thanks to Joe (Blackstang14) that listed everything i needed
i was told i can get this all together for under 2k.

here is what the list told me to get

1) Bracket assembly

i did... i made some money selling a few things though... i sold my saxifone to marks music in rhinebeck for 900. sold 3 guitars for 1000 and sold my stock hood for $500

and this is was a VERY helpful explanation to the aftercooler that Kyle told me...

something that Vortech uses that makes their superchargers extremely awesome for vehicles is the air-to-water system (HO or High Output System), Intake Air Temperatures are dropped dramatically which means you can run more timing which equals more HP. Basically what it does is circulate water through the intercooler (Aftercooler) so if you are stopped in traffic you're still cool down your intake tempatures because as you know water disappates heat. Other systems are only air-to-air which means you need to be going fast for it to cool down the temps... but think about this when you come to stop after going 130 MPH - There is no air going through that intercooler... so now it raises the Intake Temps which takes away timing which in turn takes away HP, not good for the engine either..

Yes he will, and thats another few hundred bucks.

I say just save up and get the whole kit for 3400. Better than trying to frankenstein a kit.
