Underdrive pulleys will definitely help. Your car will climb through the RPMS quicker and you will receive a gain in HP by lowering the parasitic loss suffered throughout the drivetrain.
Id have to say it is an easy install but I got it done by my machanic freind with my gears....I dont believe youd need a re- tune but once again got my tuner at the same time so got a tune for theme both :idk:
No tune is needed, and the install isn't that difficult, hardest part will probably be removing the bolt holding the current pulley on, just make sure you have a large breaker bar/pipe to get the leverage needed on it.
Mine took me 30minutes to put in. No tune needed. Just spend the xtra money and get the sfi kit. It uses a one piece crank pulley instead of a two piece. I have the two piece and I'm getting a new crank pulley I don't like the looks of what I have
