Same transmission, but no skip shift. Shifter might be different though. It is very close and easy to miss a gear and I have been drivin manual trannys since I was a kid. Clutch is different though. It has upgraded friction material. I have 1300+ miles on my Boss and I have had no issues with the transmission. I do beleive it is not the best tranny out there. I also believe a Hurst or other aftermarket shifter might help the missed shifts. The factory shifter is close but has a kinda long throw compared to the 05 to 10 Hurst shifter (they are different trans also). And it is not like I miss a shift alot, that is not the case. I miss a 2-3 shift if I am not paying attention. It happens maybe once a week. I just need to pay attention! No lazy shifting! The car is awesome. The tranny would not stop me from purchasing a Boss.
