i wanna fix my scratches.. they`re small but they piss me off :D.

i looked on ebay for mustang touch up paint and i only found a TORCH RED ... My problem now.... what color is my car ? There`s like 3 red colors :)
My second problem... does anyone know a website where i could buy this cheap ?

Get the exterior color code off the tag on your door jamb. Sometimes the same color code has more than one name. For example, my car is Torch Red but Cardinal Red uses the same code. You can buy touch up paint at most auto parts stores, Duplicolor is a popular brand and comes in spray or small bottles with a brush or ball point applicator. You don't need to buy it online and pay for shipping.

That works too.. maybe pepboys have it.


I think for redfire the code is G2 or something like that. I`ll go to pepboys and see if they have it :awesomework:

Yes Dave we have the same color :D.

I didn`t get a chance to go to pepboys now. I have to wait for my next check cuz i have to give my dad alot of money. And i already spend alot of money on the car :).

Although the Ford Dealership does sound like a better choice

go to advance auto/autozone. theyll have a small bottle of damn near every color used on a Ford car for the past 10 years

Dont bother witht he touch up paint.. It will only make your car look more fucked up.. Have it professionally wet sanded instead.. Guarantee it will get rid of 90% of the scratches on your car

I have the type of scratches that can`t be fixed like that.. the paint chipped off i have like 6-7 chips on the hood ( 2 of them i got on the cruise to bear mountain :( ) and some cock sucker hit my car when parked and i have a chipped area on the bumper the size of a nickle !!! :mad::mad: Scratched the whole area next to the grill too.. but that will come out after a good deep wash, a little buffing and some wax :awesomework:

I hate NYC parking :(

Ok this is it.... i was cursing for half an hour when i saw it.

Moderators, if this is suppose to be in another section, please move it :).



Looks HORRIBLE :( especially that chip over there.. the paint is cracked all around it... those scuff marks above i believe (hope) will come out with a good was & buffing and a good layer of was over them...

what do you think can i fix this or should i just leave it like this ?
