So car was running great I went for a wash and gas parked it. Came back later and noticed the oil meter was all the way on L. I opened the hood checked the oil and it was bone dry. I added two quarts and checked with the dip stick and all was perfect and dash meter went back to normal. I always check the oil and recently changed the oil so I wouldn't be sure as to why the dash read L and dip stick was bone dry. My next issue is now the car is making a ticking noise at about 2500k and only under load not at idle just when I accelerate ticking comes on. Any idea's as to what this might be and all this happened the same day.
