Throttle Body for 08 GT

Guys ive been thinking about getting a bbk throttle body...Are they worth the 300.00 bucks???Im running mostly stock auto/3:31 gears /xpype/flowtech muffs/bullet coldair/sct tuner..Be honest with me are they alotta hype...or is it worth it...:confused:

if you want to get any throttle body at all, go with gt500, but honestly, u dont need it, the stock one is perfectly fine, put ur money into saving for some headers, or a TCI 3000 stall, or TCI rachet shifter.

Unless you are boosting "you dont need a bigger TB"... They have tested it with boost and have seen very miniscule differences also...
ps. BBK tb is doo doo...

thanx guys...yes 4:10 gears/torque converter 3000 stall is definatley on my list...ill go w/them 1st.I was reading the claims 10 to 15 hp gain???for the thr bott..:rolleyes:The cold air/sct tuner though really did make a big diff on my auto..my nephew convinced me to buy that..:awesomework:Throttle responce was like nite/day...I guess the same w/underdrive pulleys...are they alotta hype too???

I tried a BBK w/boost and went back to the stock one,was very tempermental.Now I have an FRPP,w/more boost, works great !!Don`t know if it`s worth the $ for your application.Probably better off putting the $ somewhere else.

What about underdrive pulley set for my 08???Is it a lotta hype too???I mean if they can gain me 8 to 10 hp w/pulleys ill go for it..Im notta sterio king ive just got my stock cd/sat....but i like my ac...:evil:

the tci converters for our cars are regarded as absolute GARBAGE, they fail at a very high rate. PI or pro torque is the way to go.

im with stkjock, since you already have an intake and exhaust, gears are the way to go. i put 4.10's in mine, best mod i did, i love it!!
